Հմայիլ. բաժին Դ
*Աղերս առ խաչեալն աստուած զի պահեսցէ ՚ի կապանաց դիւաց՝ և ՚ի կախարդաց՝ և ազգի ազգի աղանդաւորաց:
Supplication to the crucified God, that He may protect [us] from the bonds of demons, and from sorcerers and various sectarians.
ԹԱԳԱՒՈՐ ՀԸզօր՝ ապաւէն ծարաւելոց և փրկիչ նեղելոց. որ վասն մեր խոնարհեցար ՚ի հայրական ծոցոյ՝ և առեր մարմին ՚ի սրբոյ կուսէն Մարիամայ վասն մերոյ փրկութեան: Մատնեցար՝ Ըմբռնեցար՝ Չարչարեցար՝ Խաչեցար՝ Թաղեցար. և երրորդ աւուր Յարեար ՚ի մեռելոց. և Համբարձար փառօք առ հայր: Եւ արդ՝ վասն անկշիռ սիրոյ քոյ, զարթո՛ զզօրութիւն քո՝ և ե՛կ ՚ի կեցուցանել զգինս արեան քո տէր. և մի՛ տար գերել սատանայի զքո փրկեալքս. և մի՛ տար բնակութիւն չարին զտաճար անուանդ քում սրբոյ. և մի՛ լքեալս քեզ մարմին և անդամ, թողուր ՚ի կոխումն և ՚ի կատականս չարին. այլ գթա՛ ՚ի քո արարածս արարչական սիրով: Տէր ողորմեա՛ մեզ՝ զի ՚ի Խաչ քո պարծելով պարծեցաք. և սա՛ պահեսցէ զմեզ երևելի և աներևոյթ թշնամոյն. ՚ի կապանաց դիւաց՝ և ՚ի յորոգայթից սատանայի: յորմէ Նշանէ՛դ սրբոյ՝ զարհուրեալ յետս ընկրկեսցի, և մի՛ իշխեսցէ մերձենալ ՚ի ծառայս քո (name) ամէն
Mighty king, refuge of those who thirst and savior of the oppressed, who for our sake humbly descended from the fatherly bosom, and took body from the holy Virgin Mary for our salvation. You were Betrayed, Seized, Tortured, Crucified, Buried, and on the third day Arose from the dead, and Ascended with glory to the Father. And now, on account of your immeasurable love, awaken your power and come to vivify the price of your blood, Lord. And lead not those you delivered [into] captivity by Satan. And lead not the temple of your holy name [into] inhabitation by the evil one. And forsake not your body and member, [and] let [them] not be tram¬pled under foot and into the mockery of the evil one. But take pity on your creatures with [your] love as creator. Lord have mercy on us, for we have pridefully boasted in your Cross. And let this [Cross] protect us [from] enemies visible and invisible, from the bonds of demons, and from the snares of Satan. From [the Cross] your holy Sign, [the adversary] shall draw back terrified, and shall have no authority to come near this servant of yours (name). Amen.
*Չար իշխանքըն հալածեսցին:
որք ընդ ծառայս քո մարտընչին:
յերեւելով նըշան խաչին:
յաներևոյթ կործանեսցին:
Let the evil princes be driven off,
Who are battling with your servant;
By the sign of the Cross appearing,
Let them be cast down into disappearing.
*Պարգևիչըդ բարեաց մարդկան:
ամէն առատ ամենեսեան:
պատրաստեցո՛ մեզ անխափան:
ըզպէտս հոգոյ և մարմնական:
Bestower of good things to mankind,
Truly abundant [unto] everyone,
Unfailingly prepare for us
The needs of soul and body.
*՚Ի քէն է գոհութիւն իմ տէր՝ յեկեղեցիս մեծս օրհնեցից զքեզ:
To you is my thanksgiving, O Lord, in great congregations I will praise you. (Psa. 22:25 (21:26 lxx).)
*Ցոյց մեզ տէր զողորմութիւնս քո. և զփրկութիւնս քո տուր մեզ:
Show us, O Lord, your mercy, and grant us your salvation. (Psa. 85:7 (84:8 lxx).)
*Որպէս զի մեծ են գործք քո տէր, և յոյժ խո՛ր են խորհուրդք քո:
How great are your deeds, O Lord! and very deep are your thoughts! (Psa. 92:5 (91:6 lxx).)
*Ո՛չ երկիցես դու յերկիւղէ գիշերի. և ո՛չ ՚ի նետէ որ թռչի ՚ի տուէ:
You will not be afraid of the terror of night; nor of an arrow that flies by day. (Psa. 91:5 (90:5 lxx).)
